The Short Version

ShotLock is a local-first plugin. Your footage, frames, and rendered output never leave your machine. We collect only what's needed to activate your license and provide support.

What We Collect

• Email address — provided at purchase or lead capture. Used to deliver your license key, send setup guides, and (with your permission) product updates.
• Device fingerprint — a hash derived from your machine for license seat enforcement. Not linked to personal data beyond your license record.
• Basic analytics — page views and conversion events via GA4. We use aggregated, anonymized data. No personal profiling.
• Stripe checkout data — payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Your footage, frames, images, or rendered video
• Your DaVinci Resolve project data
• Your ComfyUI workflows or model configurations
• Usage telemetry, crash reports, or render statistics

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with service providers essential to operating the product: Stripe (payments), Firebase (hosting and analytics), and our email platform for transactional and marketing emails (with your consent).

Email Marketing

If you opt in at purchase or lead capture, we may send you product updates, new feature announcements, and educational content. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. We will never send you emails you haven't consented to.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. Contact us at the address below. We'll respond within 30 days.
