How Can We Help?
ShotLock is a local plugin with a small team behind it. We take support seriously. Most issues are resolved same-day.
Common Support Questions
Quick answers to setup and licensing issues.
Check that the install script completed without errors. The panel script needs to land in ~/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Scripts/Utility/ on macOS. Restart DaVinci Resolve completely after install.
ComfyUI must be running at http://127.0.0.1:8188 (default port) before you start a render. Start ComfyUI first, then submit jobs from ShotLock. You can change the ComfyUI URL in the Settings tab if you're using a custom port.
Make sure you're pasting the full key without extra spaces. If the key was in your email, copy it directly from the email body. If the error persists, email support@resolveaiplugins.com with your order ID and we'll reissue.
This usually means ComfyUI doesn't have the required models installed. Check that your checkpoint (e.g. v1-5-pruned-emaonly.safetensors), IP-Adapter model, and ControlNet model are in the correct ComfyUI model directories. See the ComfyUI setup guide in the download page.
ShotLock passes workflows to ComfyUI, which handles GPU execution. AMD GPUs via ROCm (Linux) and Intel Arc (via IPEX) are supported by ComfyUI but not officially tested with ShotLock. Apple Silicon (MPS) works and is tested. NVIDIA CUDA is the primary target.
ShotLock has a 14-day refund policy, no questions asked, if it doesn't work for your setup. Email support@resolveaiplugins.com with your order ID and we'll process it within 2 business days.
License transfers are handled manually for now. Email support@resolveaiplugins.com with your license key and the machine you want to deactivate. We'll reset the seat so you can activate on the new machine.
